Here are Motorworks, we have the Long Island engine replacement experts to get your car or truck back on the road, AND avoid giving you additional expenses to think of.

You have multiple options for engine replacement and that includes factory remanufactured engines, rebuilt engines, and quality low-mileage used engines.

Remanufactured Engines

At Motorworks, we only use the latest equipment and test engines in a modern engine factory done only by the best and skilled technicians. Every engine is thoroughly tested, with no parameters left behind. Oil pressure, compression, and vacuum results are recorded and compared against the standard specifications of remanufactured engines.

Before any engine leaves the plant, we make sure that each engine is dynametered at a controlled speed, temperature, and load. The run-in is equivalent to a highway operation that helps the rings to conform to the cylinder walls, the bearings to adjust to the crankshaft, and the lifters to mate without galing. After the run-in, the remanufactured engine is ready to operate under full load at top efficiency as soon as it is installed.

Rebuilt Engines

Problem with your vehicle engine but the engine but replacement is not possible? Maybe because the engine in your vehicle is too new or too old and there are no available engines from the factory itself? Perhaps you have a classic vehicle and want to keep the engine original? If this happens, an engine rebuild may be the best option.

Engine rebuilding may be the only option if these reasons are applicable. For older or classic vehicles, a spare engine could have been phased out, making it difficult to replace the engine. Our engine specialists may be able to rebuild your engine and restore it to like-new condition.

At Motorworks Engine Center, the damaged engine is removed from the vehicle and torn down to its bare parts. Our highly detailed engine specialists will inspect each part for any damages, wear and tear and more. Upon very close analysis, parts will either be replaced or if in perfectly serviceable condition, they will be reinstalled. Upon sourcing, and carefully inspecting internal engine parts, our engine specialists will start reassembling the engine. It will then be installed back to the vehicle, tested with a great warranty.
